I grew up playing golf as a three-holer from the yellow tees and gradually made it to 18 red. Then I joined my high school team where I had to play from the blues. (Totally unfair as I was the only girl.) Golf is abundant in Marin and even the private courses have opened their facilities to the high school teams.
